The presentation will be given on behalf of the N.C. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Aldona Wos, M.D. and N.C. Medicaid Director Carol Steckel. It will be held <strong>Thursday, May 9 from 7:00 &#8211; 8:30 p.m.</strong> at the <strong>Old Guilford County Courthouse, Second Floor</strong> located at 301 W. Market St. <em>The event is open to the public, but seating is limited so please come early</em>.</p>

<li>Drafts policies and procedures for the organization’s Prescription Drug Plan</li>
<li>Routinely reports activities and status of the organization’s Fraud, Waste and Abuse Program</li>
<li>Develops and maintains compliance reporting mechanisms</li>
<li>Develops and implements training programs for Compliance education</li>
<li>Develops provider network, negotiates rates with providers, and renews contracts annually</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Undergraduate degree from an accredited university</li>
<li>Training or experience working with regulatory authorities required</li>
<li>Training or experience working with Medicare Part D programs preferred</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer tools used for data management</li>
<li>Experience facilitating groups</li>

<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Supervises Clinical Staff including: home care coordinators, home care assistant, clinic nurses, clinic assistant, social workers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and registered dietitian.</li>
<li>Provides oversight of the care and services provided by the Interdisciplinary Team and contracted services.</li>
<li>Collaborates with Quality Coordinator to collect and analyze quality data.</li>
<li>Ensures compliance with PACE, state, and local regulations.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing</li>
<li>5 years nursing experience, 2 years management experience, and at least 1 year caring for the frail or elderly</li>
<li>Experience in home care, long term care, or PACE preferred</li>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>PACE of the Triad is seeking an Adult Day Health Coordinator to provide operational and staff management for the Adult Day Health Center (ADHC).</p>
<h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Provides direct supervision of ADHC staff including:  Certified Nursing Assistants, Recreational Therapist, Activities Coordinator, Transportation Coordinator, Volunteers, Receptionist, and Environmental Services.</li>
<li>Manages all ADHC activities pertaining to daily operations including: meals, staffing, transportation, inventory management, and enrollment agreements.</li>
<li>Oversees facility maintenance and repairs and responsible for fire and safety drills and inspections.</li>
<li>Serves as liaison between the ADHC and participants, families, the PACE Interdisciplinary Team, contracted providers, and vendors.</li>
<li>Develops best practices for daily procedures and ensures compliance with all federal, state and local regulations.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina</li>
<li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing Preferred</li>
<li>5 years nursing experience, 2 years management experience, and at least 1 year caring for the frail or elderly</li>
<li>Experience in home care, long term care, or PACE preferred</li>

<li>Assists passengers on and off the van in a safe and courteous manner</li>
<li>Follows established schedules, adjusts schedules to meet unanticipated changes, determines the safest and most efficient pick-up and delivery routes</li>
<li>Inspects van and maintains it in a clean, orderly and safe condition</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>High School degree or equivalent</li>
<li>1 year experience transporting individuals with special mobility needs</li>
<li>1 year experience with the frail or elderly</li>
<li>Valid NC driver’s license</li>
<li>Excellent driving record</li>
